Practice

The vast majority of my work is in the fields of residential and commercial property, business and commercial litigation, and arbitration.

I am familiar with the practice and procedure of the County Court, the Chancery Division and Queen’s Bench Division of the High Court, and the First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) in particular. I am a member of the Chancery Bar Association, the Property Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb). I am also a member of the Young Arbitrators Forum (ICC) and Young International Arbitration Group (LCIA).

In November 2013, I was instructed in the Supreme Court on two appeals. Click on this news item for further details. I frequently appear in the County Court, particularly at Central London in the Chancery List, and I am often instructed before registrars and masters in the Rolls Building on company and insolvency matters.

I provide a comprehensive, high-quality service. I am approachable, efficient, and articulate in providing sound practical advice to a range of individuals, businesses, and other organisations. My clients include a retail bank with more than 1,000 branches across the UK, two of the largest privately-owned freehold estates in central London, housing associations and councils across England, and a League Two football club. A large and growing number of my clients are residential and commercial landlords, medium sized and family-owned businesses, investors, property management companies, and property developers.
